Edward F. Giltenan
Director of Public Relations

Ed Giltenan is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., and T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. He is the director of public relations, and his team is responsible for external communications, including media relations.

Mr. Giltenan joined T. Rowe Price in 1995 and worked in shareholder communications and public relations until 2000. He left the firm in 2000 and served in a variety of senior communications positions at Citigroup. Prior to rejoining the firm in 2008, he was the senior director, public communications, at the Investment Company Institute.

He earned a B.A. in communication arts from Marist College.

Alan D. Levenson, Ph.D.
Chief Economist

Alan Levenson is T. Rowe Price’s chief economist. His central role is to contribute to the formulation of investment strategy in the firm's Fixed Income Division. In this capacity, he develops U.S. economic, inflation, and Federal Reserve policy outlooks. The Economics Department supports investment and client development activities throughout the firm and conveys its views in two publications, U.S. Economic Perspective and U.S. Economic Projections.

Prior to joining T. Rowe Price in 1998, Mr. Levenson was a senior vice president and director of research at Aubrey G. Lanston & Co., Inc., in New York City.

Mr. Levenson earned a B.A. in philosophy, with a minor concentration in economics, from Yale University and an M.B.A. and Ph.D. in economics from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.

John D. Linehan, CFA
Director of U.S. Equities
Co-Portfolio Manager of the U.S. Large-Cap Value Strategy

John Linehan is head of the T. Rowe Price U.S. Equity Division, chairman of the Equity Steering Committee, and a member of the firm’s Management Committee. He is also co-portfolio manager of the U.S. Large-Cap Value Strategy. Mr. Linehan is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc.

Mr. Linehan has 23 years of investment experience, 14 of which have been at T. Rowe Price. He started at the firm in 1998 as an equity analyst covering the paper and forest products and airline industries. Between 1990 and 1996, he was an executive in the oil trading and consulting industry, first as vice president and managing director for Delaney Petroleum, then as vice president and managing director for E.T. Petroleum. He began his investment career in 1987 while at Bankers Trust NY Corporation, where he served as an associate in mortgage-backed securities trading.

Mr. Linehan attended Amherst College, where he earned a B.A. in economics. He earned an M.B.A. from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. While at Stanford, he was the Henry Ford II Scholar, an Arjay Miller Scholar, and the winner of the Alexander A. Robichek Award in finance. He also has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Robert W. Smith
Portfolio Manager of the International Stock Fund and the International Equity Strategy

Bob Smith is a portfolio manager for T. Rowe Price's International Stock Fund and International Growth Strategy. He is a member of the T. Rowe Price International Equity Steering Committee. Mr. Smith is also a member of the investment team responsible for managing the firm's U.S. Large-Cap Core Growth Strategy. He managed the U.S. large-cap growth portfolios from 1997 to 2007. Mr. Smith is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. Mr. Smith has 25 years of investment experience, 20 of which have been with T. Rowe Price. He joined the firm in 1992 as an investment analyst specializing in defense, retail, and electrical equipment stocks. He also provided general coverage of European equities starting in 1995. Prior to T. Rowe Price, Mr. Smith spend six years at MFS Investment Management as an analyst, where his coverage included beverage, tobacco, food, electrical equipment, and telecommunications companies.

Mr. Smith earned a B.S. in finance and economics from the University of Delaware and an M.B.A. in general management from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia.

Michael C. Gitlin
Director of Fixed Income

Mike Gitlin is the director of Fixed Income for T. Rowe Price, overseeing the firm’s fixed income investment management division. He is chairman of the Fixed Income Steering Committee. Mr. Gitlin serves on the firm's Management Committee, as well as the Finance, Management Compensation, and Equity and Fixed Income Brokerage and Trading Control Committees.

Mr. Gitlin has 20 years of investment experience, five of which have been at T. Rowe Price. He joined the firm in 2007 as global head of Trading before becoming director of Fixed Income in 2009. Prior to joining T. Rowe Price, Mr. Gitlin was head of U.S. equity sales for Citigroup Global Markets, where he also served in the roles of head of Asia-Pacific sales trading, head of Asia-Pacific cash equities, and head of international cash equities. Previously, he also was head of Asia-Pacific trading for Credit Suisse Asset Management and traded Japanese equities and bonds for George Weiss and Associates.

Mr. Gitlin has experience working in Hong Kong, Singapore, and New York. He graduated with a B.A., cum laude, from Colgate University.

Kenneth A. Orchard, CFA
Credit Analyst, Fixed Income

Ken Orchard is a portfolio manager/analyst in the Fixed Income Division at T. Rowe Price. He is also a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., and T. Rowe Price International Ltd.

Mr. Orchard has eight years of investment experience. Prior to joining the firm in 2010, he worked as a senior credit officer for the Sovereign Risk Group at Moody’s Investors Service and was a consulting senior economist for Emerging Market Economics in London. Mr. Orchard also worked as an assistant portfolio manager for HSBC Asset Management in Vancouver.

Mr. Orchard earned a B.A. in international relations from the University of British Columbia and an MSc in public financial policy from the London School of Economics. He also has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
